Now in her 33rd in education, Faith (Bishop) Carr is a Pre-K through Grade 8 Technology and Gifted Education Teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes School in Decatur, IL. Formerly a Principal Consultant for ISBE and administrator of the Title II D Competitive 1:1 Grants in the state of Illinois, she remains current with trends of a 1:1 environment. Recently, Faith jumped on board with Google® Tools in the 1:1 classroom. She was recognized in 2013 as a PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovator. Presentation history includes educational topics of cross-curricular differentiation, career and technology initiatives, 21st Century Learning and more. She holds a Bachelor of arts in Elementary Education, and Master’s in Instructional Media, has been certified to teach in 4 states, currently in the state of Illinois, with endorsements in Elementary Education, Gifted Education, and Middle School Language Arts.
