Shifting From HELP! To Collaborative Coaching: Creating a System That Works

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Our staff clamored for support in using new technology but the HELP! method wasn't working. We established a collaborative coaching model that allows us to have quality conversations that shift the focus from technology to student learning outcomes and empowers teachers to design, develop and facilitate 21st century learning experiences.

In this session, we will talk through the steps to create a coaching model of technology integration support. We'll explain how we've used tools such as Google Sites, Google Forms, Google Calendar, Autocrat to facilitate our coaching cycle and give you the opportunity to explore and develop materials that work for you.

We all want to make an impact on student learning and teacher practice. Moving to a collaborative coaching model allows us to have deeper conversations with staff. Our hope is that you will leave this workshop with concrete tools and a system that you can implement right away.
