STEM - Ignite the Passion in Your Elementary Students

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

STEM is quickly gaining ground in schools throughout the country, and with valid reason. Utilizing a project-based approach to learning, students apply scientific and engineering concepts to problem-solve authentic, real-world issues.

Come hear from two Crystal Lake School District #47 teachers who will share the journey of how and why STEM became an integral part of District 47’s curriculum. Our students are developing critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and problem solving skills while learning and applying important STEM principles which integrate all the new Illinois Learning Standards. Come hear how you can get your students “Future Ready!” You will walk away from this workshop with strategies and activities you can use in your classroom.
