In increasingly complex times, with the landscape in education changing at a torrid pace, innovation and collaboration skills are becoming vital to students, and both principles are essential in the design thinking framework. This hands-on workshop will lead educators through the design thinking process including a discussion on activities to immediately implement in the classroom environment. Participants will gain insight into the creative process that helps learners design meaningful solutions in the classroom, at your school, and within the community. design thinking is in fact genius hour and project-based learning molded together to purposefully meet learning targets in today’s world. Together we'll explore how human-centered design can help develop innovative solutions for the complex challenges students will face as they continue their own learning paths.
