A Creative Approach to Design Thinking

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

As makerspaces move throughout schools how can we be using these tools to work towards the achievement of students? Based on the research from Stanford D School, Juliani and Spencer’s book, “Launch”, and local district site visits come begin your design thinking journey using collaborative activities and integrating technology tools. In addition, you will learn challenges, risks, and successes from District 100’s process and leave with resources for immediate application. Whether you walk away with tools for a lesson, a unit, or a program throughout your district, we will provide you with an experience to ignite the design thinking process in your schools.
