Adventures in Sketchnoting

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Sketchnoting - aka visual notetaking, graphic narration, or purposeful doodling - can be an incredibly powerful way to take notes that are meaningful, engaging and fun. Sketchnoting can be a great tool to use with visual thinkers and those students who always need to have something in their hands. In this workshop, we'll explore resources, examine best practices in teaching your students to sketchnote, and even learn how to do it! Since this is a tech conference, we'll also look at electronic sketchnote resources, including how to use an iPad to sketchnote and some of the best apps to use. The best part of sketchnoting is that your students don't have to be artists to sketchnote, and you don't have to be one, either!
